Dr. Lakshman Prasad is an Associate Professor of Painting at the School of Performing and Visual Arts, Indira Gandhi National Open University, where he specializes in visual arts. With over 14 years of teaching experience, he has significantly contributed to the education and development of aspiring artists.
Dr. Prasad's work has been recognized both nationally and internationally. He received the prestigious award at the 10th International Biennial of Miniature Art in Czestochowa, Poland, in 2018, showcasing his talent on a global platform. His national accolades include multiple awards from the Lalit Kala Akademi and the Camel Art Foundation, affirming his status as a leading figure in contemporary Indian art.
Throughout his career, Dr. Prasad has participated in numerous exhibitions, including the 58th National Exhibition of Art in New Delhi and the 28th National Exhibition of Contemporary Art in Nagpur, where he received sponsorship for a solo exhibition. His commitment to his craft is further demonstrated through various accolades, such as the North Zone Bronze Award from the Prafulla Foundation and a Certificate of Merit from the All India Art Exhibition.
