The Philosophy

Consciousness evolves from chakra to chakra: Mooladhara being the highest chakra for animals and the lowest for humans. A person, whose consciousness is in this level, still retains animal qualities, unaware and disinterested in spiritual qualities. His main or rather only concern is security and survival.

When the consciousness evolves out of the mooladhara chakra and crosses the manipur chakra, the person is awakened from his deep ignorance and gets the inkling of his real nature – the final destination and the utter bliss of that state. He becomes eager to move forward and does not knew the way.

But duality is the nature of creation and man is no exception. His energies, tendencies and desires all are opposite to each other. It requires persistent effort and Divine grace to overcome this near stagnant situation. Finally, it is the ego - a common failing - that prevents the individual from reaching its spiritual destination. Only when this ego is surrendered, the seeker merges with the Supreme and attains Mokshya. This yogic philosophy is reflected in the poems of the highly evolved soul, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore.
